Setting up on EBay (remember, skip if unnecessary)

I can’t assume everyone reading this knows how to use eBay but I will keep this fairly brief and simple for those of you who need it. If you are not familiar with eBay but want to find cheap used cars for sale go to ebay.com and click on the “sign up” link. You will need to create a user ID, password and fill out all the information necessary. That’s it! Now if you are still so new to eBay that you are still reading this, here are some recommendations:

Familiarize yourself with the functions of eBay

Do searches looking for specific items

Read the FAQ’s on buying, bidding, selling, reserves, etc…

I recommend that your first purchase NOT be a vehicle. Buying cheap used cars for sale may be exciting but first learn the process by buying a few things like adding to your stamp collection, beer sign paraphernalia or Brad Pitt wall of shame. Just make sure you know how to bid, what minimums/maximums are and how to pay for items. In other words, be comfortable with using and buying on eBay itself before you purchase a vehicle. Even though each eBay car sale has safeguards for fraud protection and I will teach you things to be aware of, you need to be comfortable with eBay used autos or you will never actually make a vehicle purchase. And in turn, you will continue to pay outrageous dealer prices. Do you know what markup is on selling a used vehicle? A good friend of mine made upwards of $1500 per commission from selling used vehicles. Do you know how much that means the dealer makes!? I once (in my naïve days) traded in a 99 VW Jetta that, literally, the dealership sold the next day for $2400 more, PARKED IN THE SAME SPOT I LEFT IT THE DAY BEFORE! THEY NEVER EVEN UNLOCKED IT! I hope that is enough motivation for you to buy a cars for sale on eBay!
